Mas Akil is very helpful and super friendly. The food there is also delicious. I think the best foods are Somtam and Drunken Noodle. I attached a photo with Mas Akil, if you come here and are served by Mas Akil, I'm sure you will feel happy.
The beef brisket was excellent as was everything we ordered. The place is very comfortable and spacious. The mango fried fish was good, but the dish is pretty sour, fyi. It’s best mixed with everything.
This is a fancy restaurant with great interior. They offer such a unique vibe. Perfect place to have a business meeting. I loved how they served the chocolate with an expert style of art latte. However, this is not a typical restaurant I would choose for a regular hang out or regular work from cafe kind of place.

I had an opportunity to visit Gioi for family dinner. We've passed this place a lot but yesterday is our first time to drop a visit together. We ordered the recommended crispy duck (it is served altogether with nasis kecombrang!), chili eggplant, and stir fried vegetables. ALL TASTED GOOD and I am happy with the excellent hospitality of the waiter/ress. They also helped me to do the confirmation with Grab as they said Gioi no longer partnered with Grab Dine Out (because Gioi is in the apps list for 15 percent discount). I had a great dinner experience and surely will come back again.

It’s comforting, fragrant, and beautifully balanced. The sweetness of the mango works so well with the richness of the black sticky rice, making it a dessert that feels familiar yet elevated. It’s one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. For drinks, the matcha pistachio with cream cheese is a standout. It’s creamy, slightly nutty, and not overly sweet, with the matcha giving it a calm, grounding taste. The cream cheese adds just enough richness to make it feel indulgent without being heavy. Gioi Menteng has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that invites long conversations and unhurried evenings. C’est chaleureux et parfait pour discuter après le travail. Einfach ein sehr angenehmer Ort, especially when you just want good food, good drinks, and good company.
Had a really lovely experience here. The food was great, and the ambiance was very comfortable. The decoration of the restaurant is beautiful and well thought out, making it a nice place to enjoy a meal. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive, truly top-notch service!!! I was even asked to choose a gift, and since I had already purchased dessert and received a dessert as the gift, they kindly gave me another chance to choose again. I ended up getting a makeup item, plus an extra promo, which was such a pleasant surprise. Overall, an amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Probably the best food we had so far in Jakarta. Unfortunately we could not order the duck because we were too early (11 am) and it would have been ready from 2pm onward. Nevertheless all what we had was excellent.
